My vehicle's serpentine belt broke while across town. I was still able to make it within 3 blocks of my house, when my vehicle stopped working. I used AAA app and ordered a tow truck to take it to my mechanic. I was kept updated via text on where I was in the queue, who my driver was, and when he’d arrive. It did take approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours, which was fine with me, because I was able to be in the comfort of my own home while I waited.
The reason it took so long is because the night before we had a massive hail storm (golf ball to baseball-sized hail) and thousands of people had their vehicles towed. The tow truck driver Manuel was amazing! He called when he was on his way, he explained everything thoroughly, he had my vehicle hooked up within minutes, and sent pictures when he dropped it off. I would definitely recommend AAA to my family and friends!

I bought AAA premium package for myself, my Husband and each of my service trucks. I can’t be more grateful I did!! They’ve rescued us out of several situations. My Husband was in a ditch in his Big work truck and they got him out in minutes, I was broke down in Wyoming by myself and they came and towed me back to Denver! They’ve brought me tires, gas and jumped me when my battery was dead. Never have they charged me for any of the services they provided. I can’t recommend them enough! Thanks AAA

I ran over a 4x4 (think deck post) and it ruined two tires on the right side of my car while driving on Interstate 85 in North Carolina on my way back to Virginia. It took the dispatcher quite a while to get a location for me, but eventually service showed up. A very nice fellow who, unfortunately, forgot to check the rear right tire. As a result, we drove 35 miles to the AAA service station dragging a flat rear tire that ended up dissolving into rim by the time we arrived at our destination. He pretty much accepted full responsibility and **, facility manager at the station at 3505 Westgate Drive, Durham, NC was fantastic. I called him constantly and he was very receptive and even helped lead me through the beginning parts of the damage claim. This was handled fairly and quickly. AAA paid for a sizable chunk of the fee, and I was surprised and pleased. It was a good experience.... after a really bad one.

I recently had my beautiful little vintage Lexus towed by AAA. They were extremely helpful, sent a flatbed from Brown towing Co and a very helpful and experienced driver came to my rescue. I had lost power right at the intersection of Broughton Road and RT 88 during rush hour and barely made it off the road. Travis ** was the driver's name. He was extremely careful with my vehicle putting in on the flatbed and taking it off at Knoll Automotive in Pleasant Hills. Also a very kind woman called me from AAA after our initial conversation to check on me to see if I was safe. I have been a AAA member most of my life and I will say this has been the best experience I have ever had with them. I would highly recommend them.

AAA's app was easy to follow. It only took 30 minutes for a tow truck to arrive. Jose, my driver was extremely friendly and got my car on his truck within a matter of minutes. I did not need to follow him to Benson's Wheel Alignment and Service because he already knew where they were located and was willing to hand them my car key and save me a trip. Jose was trustworthy and the moment he pulled out of my driveway I received a call from AAA making sure everything went well, which it did. I was extremely satisfied with the overall service and Jose my driver.

Left me waiting for over 3 hours in nearly triple digit heat. The tow truck company that they insisted on using for my service was located about an hour away and they kept saying that they were on the way when they weren’t. I finally gave up and called my insurance company who sent a tow truck. 1 star is entirely too generous.

It is June 29, 2024 at approximately 12:58am. I put in a request for roadside assistance at 9:30 pm. I am a female and I am currently still awaiting some help. This is a service I pay for, on time; but I can't seem to get any service. AAA is not worth it. Initially my driver was gonna be here in 10 min. Now they are saying, "just look out for a msg from the driver giving you his ETA". IT IS NOW 1:03 AM. WHICH MEANS I'VE BEEN WAITING 3.5 HRS WITHOUT FOLLOW UP. HOPEFULLY NOTHING HAPPENS TO ME OUT HERE.

I have been a AAA member off and on for decades. The last stint currently is at 28 years. I have been towed about 3 or 4 times in the last 20 years. Only one tow has been satisfactory. This last tow I waited for 4 1/2 hours with at least one conversation that had me on and off of hold for 45 minutes. I finally hung up and called the tow truck direct. They were there shortly. Although dispatch had my name and were texting me sporadic updates, I did not hear back from them when I hung up. The time before last I waited 8 hours and the driver finally canceled. I had to call my wife and have her drive 100 miles and take a ferry boat to pick me up. I started to research other roadside assistance companies and will pick a new company. AAA gets 2 thumbs down. They were at one time a great company, but not anymore.

I recently got my AAA membership and hadn't had a need to use it but had added my Father to the policy just in case. He had traveled to Tennessee from Georgia and his breaks had gone out at the top of a mountain. He needed a tow to get him off the mountain. We called a service rep and we told him my Father was in a very large vehicle and to keep that in mind when sending out a tow company. A truck comes out that cannot haul my Father's vehicle. Keeping in mind that he's at the top of a very steep 300 foot drop with practically no breaks.
The tow truck driver says he can't do the job and will let AAA dispatch someone who can. No answer from AAA for 2 hours. Call them for an update and they called my Father saying because the road he broke down on was a county, unmaintained road, they could not tow him from there and that if he could get down the mountain on his own, they'd tow him from there. They did not send anyone else out and my Father had to find someone else to help him unaffiliated with AAA.
